About Some Peace Again
Some Peace Again is a faith-based helping organization. We seek to be an agent of healing to those who have experienced all kinds of loss and hardship. There is a passage in the bible that best describes what Some Peace Again Ministries is about:
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me
He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted
and proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners...
To comfort all who mourn
and provide for those who grieve...
To bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
A garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called "Oaks of Righteousness"
A planting of the Lord, for the display of His splendor!"

With God's loving help, we hope to:
"Rebuild the ancient ruins, and restore
Places long devastated...
To renew ruined cities that have been
Devastated for generations..."

We believe God's heart for you is this:
"For I the Lord love justice.
I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
I will faithfully restore my people
for their suffering."

"Because of the Lord's great love
we are not consumed, for His
compassions never fail.

Great is Your faithfulness."

All this is a poetic way to convey our belief that there is no tragedy too great that the power of God can't heal. We CAN be made new. We CAN have peace.
